Anyone having to deal with any kind of organization - no matter how mundane - will be familiar with the concept of a risk assessment. After the first few iterations of writing such a document, however, the idea of having to write too many of them quickly becomes pretty unattractive. There are only so many times you can hear “do I have to account for tiger attacks in this one?” before you start to wish you’d never learned how to fill out the form whatsoever.
