This time, we’re turning to “Server Security Policies”, because it is an unforgiving task. Not only are servers sometimes running on a variety of outdated software and in need of some serious expertise and TLC, but they are also the most sensitive part of any organization’s system and in need of the most attention.

In this document, you’ll find a simple 10-part plan to explain the importance, scope, and necessity of Server Security Policies to your co-workers - including those in non-technical positions. We have given each section three bullet points to explain the “scope” and then a brief write-up to explain how it relates to their jobs.
